The management agteed but then found that oue Saturday a workman had advanced Ihe clock seven minutes, so the arrangement was cancelled. The men promptly went on a sfcay-in strike. They leave the works every Saturday morning, remain in town for the weekend and return to stay-in each Monday. This has been going on for seven weeks.
