Disorders Among Natives (Received 3. 11.50 a.m.)

LONDON, Sept. 2. A Meknes message says that 15 i natives wero killed and 50 soldiers wounded in a climax to disoontent among the native population owing to a water shortage due to a drought. After the arresb of natives who -had led a demonstration against the Munieipal services, 10,000 natives clashed with troops. A detacKment of Poreign Legion was called out when tlie demonstrators attempted to invade the buildings in which the leaders were being tried. The troops fired after failure to disperse the crowd.
