"NANCY STEELE IS MISSING" & "KING OF THE EOYAL MOUNTED" A double-feature programme will be featured at the State Theatre tonight. Unforgettably portrayed by the star of "The Informer,'' and an inspired ca-st, "Nancy Steele is Missing," the Twentieth Century-Fox production presents a powerful drama ot vengeful hate baiked by its own fury and punished by man's greatest love. The teeeoud feature, Zane Grey's "King of the Royal Mounted," is a thrilling story of spectacular action, scenic grandeur, beroic romance and headlong excitement. Nine new song hits by Gordon and Revel, ace Hollywood songwriters who have written many of the nation 's leading musical successes, feature "Wake Up and Live," the Twentieth Century-Fox production featuring Walter Winchell, Beu Bernie and Alice 1'aye, which screens to-morrow at the State Theatre. Two of the numbers, "Wake Up and Live" and " There ®s a Lull in My Life," are sung by Alice Faye, of whom Winchell reported in hi,s column: "Some eritics have announced that Alice Faye gave her finest performance in 'On the Avenue'— but they will say that, we believe, with ! more superiatives, after they eniov her in this picture." Sidney LaniieSd directed "Wake Up and Live," in which appear, in addition to the trio of stars, Patsy Kelly, New Sparks, Jack Haley, Grace Bradley, Walter Catlett, Leali Eay, Joan Davis, Douglas Fowley and Miles Mander.
