Fortnightly Meeting The usual fortnightly meeting of tho Eureka Lodge of Druids was held iu tho United Hall, Bro.' E. Nuttall, A.D., jjresiding over an attendance of 55 meiubers. Siclc pay and accounts auiounting to £24 1(5/7 were passed for payment. Five new, members Avere initiated duriug the evening. The annual re-uuion of the lodges in the distriet will be 'held at Napier on September 9. The next meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter is to be held at Hastings on September 16. The Arch Druid congratulated the officers and members on again winning the Potter Shield at tho ritual competition. It was ngreed to hold another ladies' nigh't on September .14. At tho cnnclusion of the moeting the sncial coupuiltpo arranged a smolco conperl, and a varied programme was given by members and friends, which was very much appreciated.
