GREYMOUTH, Last Night. "White gloves were presented to Mr. Justice Northcroft at the quarterly sit-, ting of the Supreme Court to-day, there being no criminal cases. His Honour expressed pleasure at the freedom of tho district from serious erimo. As au old resident of the Wcst Coast, aud ' realising as he did that the Court served a big district froin nortli of Greymouth to South YYestland, he was pleased to know that, as on former" occasions, it was possible to make such a presentation.
