Team Arrives Back To-day • The, .New ■ Zealand hockey teani; which,. has been touring Australia, is expected to arfive back in Wellington this afternoon. The Hastings representative in the te'am, Arthnr Malioney, who is captain, is not expected to return to Hastings until . the beginning of next week, as it is an'ti'cipated that he will »rstt Christchuicl before returning to Hastings. While on his tour Mr Mahoney was ^.dvised by cable of the death of hnmother at' Christchurch, and his many friends and admirers in this district will have opportunity of expressing their synvpathy with him, at least on Wednesday evening next, if not before, for on Wednesday tbe United Hockey Club has arranged a special social evening as- a "welcome home" to their popular club ruember.
