REFUGEES AND WOUNDED KILLED BY JAPANESE BOMBS

(Received 1, 11.30 a.m.) SHANGHAI, Aug. 31. Scores of refugees and wounded soldiers were killed and many were injured when Japanese planes bombed 200 who were awaiting transportation at an omnibus station at Woosung. The Chinese Chamber of Commerce has asked the Central Government to launch reprisals, including confiscation of Japanese property in China and the bombing of airports in Formosa, North China and Japan.
