(Received 1, 8.45 a.m.) PEIPING, Aug. 30. Several thousand Chinese irregular troops seized and looted the French Catholie seminary at Jeishankow, 12 miles from Peiping. They drove 'out 5000 Chinese war refugees, shot and seriously wounded Father FrancOis, director of the seminary, and carried of£ as prisoners eight French and three Hungarian priests and 12 Chinese oonverts. Later, thfe Chinese irregulars, on learning of the approach of rescue troops, left the seminary, abandoning the wounded brother and earrying oif 10, including an Irish priest. The British Embassy is co-operating with the French to secure the release of the eaptives, for whom the bandits are demanding a large ransom
