TIMARU, Last Night. The weather did not. favour the Springboks to-day for training pur-. poses, light rain falling throughout the afternoon, After their return from. Mount Gpok on Monday evening the majority of the party went to the pictures, but the. players were early astir this morning, having a run at Caroline Bay bef ore, breakf ast. This afternoon they visited Fraser Park, where about an hour was spent in light training. "Boy" Louw had churgn of the forwards, who conflned their- elforts to dribbbng rushes and short passing bouts. No attempt was made at scrum praetice. * Craven directed tbe operations with the backs, two sets being opposed to each other. The greasy ball upset many efforts, and most , atte.ntiMn was directed to the short kick througiT, Ihe three-quarters going np fast.
