Last montb tbe Heretaunga Pack visited the Havelock North Pack and all tbe cubs had a* jolly time. First tbere was a six-a-side football tournament. won by the Grey six. Then tbere was long and exciting treasure hunt among the trees. Wben tbe treasure was found both packs lined np so tbat eacb oub got a share of it. Next canie tbe game of "sbops", followed by tbe dance of Bagbeera. Tbe "deer" stalked and killed in tbis dance was a pile of apples, so be was prop'/rly tora to pieces and eaten. Tlie agile cubs had a cbance to sbow their mettle in a strenuous obstacle race, wbile the quick-witted sbowed up in "waves and paddlers." The combined packs then lifted tbe roof with a last Grand Howl.
