Amazing Progress in England

AUCKLAND, Last Night. *' Soeial readjustment in England in the last 25 years has been amazing," said Dr. F. B. Gunson, a member of the Auckland Hospital Board, who returned by the Awatea after a visit to England. "In a short space of time some three million homes, averaging four people to a kome, have been rebuilt," said Dr. Gunson. "That means that about a quarter of the population have been given improved living conditions.
