Tho Wairoa Golf Olub paid itB first visit to the Napier Golf Club during the week-end. An enjoyable day's play was had by the team, the weather being ideal and the Waiohiki links in- first class order. Templeton ands Tizard losf to Heslop and Mowat. Simpson and A. McClurg lost to Chrichton and White. Willis and Ayling beat Jones and Quayle. Retemeyer and L. M. McClurg- beat de Lautour and Pidduck. Harris and Reaney lost to Thomson and JLrogh. Murray and McConnell lost to Deighton and Chamberlain. TWO-BALLf Kawhe lost to Benson. Beck lost to Smith. Woon lost to Crawford, Hobbs halved with Pattison. Templeton halved with Mowat. Tizard halved with Heslop, McClurg lost to Crichton; Willis lost to Jones; Ayling lost to Quayle; Retemeyer beat deLautour ; McClurg beat Pidduck ; Harris beat Thomson ; Reaney beat Krogh ; McConnell lost to Chamberlain.
