WELLINGTON, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr.JusticePage, Judge of thq Supreme Court and former stipendiary magistrate. The late. Mr Justiee Page was born m Wellington in 1S77, the son of Mr ,T. E. P.age, . Town Clerk . of . Wellington. He was educated at Wellington College and 'Victoria. University . College: After caking his law degrees he practis'ed as barrister and solicitor in Eketahuna and from 1903 to 1912 was Mayor of: Eketahuna. In 1912 he was appointed stipendiary magistrate in Wellington and remaiued on the ruaghsterial bench until he was appointed Judge, of the Arbitration .Court in April, 1935. . While he was a magistrate he acted on many
occasions as chairman of various commissions of inquiry. Last year his health began to .fail and the strain of the greatly -increased work ' of" the ' Arbitration Court - told keavily upon him. He continued to preside over the Court, liowever, until some months 'ago, when he was g'ranted leave of absence. \
