The Havelock North Club championshop, over 36 holes, was played off during the week-end, the finalists being K. Joblin and H. Norwell. There was a considerable following of members and their friends, who watched a closelyfought game, th© competitors halving holes xepeatedly .in par figures. The winner was K.
