1300 American Marines (Received 31, 8.45 a.m.) SAN DIEGG, Aug. 29. There was scene reminiscent of the World War when 1300 IJnited States Marines embarked for Shanghai aboard tlie transport Chaumont, which was accpmpanied by the cruiser Marblehead. The band played "Tipperary" and "Over There." Tliousands of spectators on the pier elieered and sang. Tlie vessel will refuel at Honoluhi and arrive in China on September 21.
