LEGLESS MAN COLLAPSES AFTER 143-MILES SWIM

(Received 31, 9.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, Aug. 29. The legless swimmer Charles ' Ziinmy arrived 148 hours after leaving Albany on a 143-miles non-stop swim in the Hudson river. ^He clambered into the escort boat, lighted a cigar and announced he f elt fine. Later Zinuny was admitted to hospital suffering from congestion of tho lungs. His condition is very serious.
