Believiug his story she let hira have various svarns after he had told her that he required money for the time being. Her husband went out twice with him on what she thought was secret service work. Inspector Rogers told the Court that in 1929 Bcnnctt was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment at Croydon^ Surrey, for obtaining crodit by falso pretences. He was now sentenced to six months' hard labour.
