AUCKLAND, This Day. Carpenters working on the State houses at Orakei, who struck ou Friday week, resumed work this morning and at the luncheon interval the manager of the Fletcher Construction Company Said that in all branches work was proceeding normally. As the result of conferences the men agreed to resume on the understanding that as soon as the Arbitration Court has completed the standard wage liearing tlie Coneiliatioh Council will be called to consider the carpenters' clainiB.
