The llrst secondary schools' hockey tournament to be held in New Zealand commenced this morning at Remuera* Eight teains, from Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wairarapa, Wanganui, Stratford and Auckland, are compcting. Fix-st round results: — Palmerston Higk (7) beat Hamilton Tecknical (nil). Auckland Grammar (6) beat Wairarapa (1). Mt. Albert Grammar (2) beat Wan-' ganui Technjcal (1). Stratford High (2) beat Auckland Grammar B (1).
