W.C.T.U. SECRETARY FAREWELLED
The membera of the W.C.T.u., Napier, held an enjoyable afternoon in the Baptist schoolroom on Wednesday to bid farewell to their secretary, Mrs. H. Oliver, who is leaving Napier to reside in Ngaio, Wellington. Mueh appreciated musieal items were rendered by Miss Miller on tbe piano and Kobin England, violin, while Miss V. Lewis delighted all with eloeutionary numbers, and Mrs. Atherford and Miss Gollister with vocal solos. Two competitions caused mnch amusement, the prizes being awarded to Mrs. Atherford and Mrs. Austin.
