Age limits 18 to 23 years. Knowledge of cooking and baking is desirable but not essentiai. ASSISTANT STEWARD. — 1 vacancy for 12 years' continuous service. Age limits 18 to 23 years. ENGINE ROOM ARTIFIOER. — 1 vacancy for 12 years' continuous service, Age limits for candidates applying during present year 19J1 to 24 years. Candidates must be competent at one of the foilowing trades: — Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Coppersmith, Boilermaker or Enginesmith. They will be required to pass a technical examination and trade test ptior to entry. Those who hold a 2nd Class Engineer's Board of Trade cortiiicate will be accepted without technieal examination. ELECTRICAL ARTIFICERS. — 2 vacancies for 12 years' continuous service. Age limits for candidates applying during present year 192 to 2b yeaTs. Candidates inust be thorough-' ly efficient iitters, or fitters and turners, or instrument makers. They will be required to pass a technical examination and trade test prior to entry. Candidates must be thoroughly efficient Iitters or fitters and turners. They will be required to pass a technical examination and trade test prior to entry. SHIPWRIGHT. — 1 vacancy for 12 years' continuous service. Age limits 18 to 25 years. Candidates must be thoroughly efficient workmen with at least 5 years practical experience as Shipwright. Will be required to pass a trade test prior to entry. BLACKSMITH. — 1 vaeancy for 12 years' continuous service. Age limits 19 to 25 years.. Candidates must be thoroughly efficient workmen with at lcast 5 years practical experience as Blacksmith. Will bo required to pass a trade test prior to entry.
