UNHURT AFTER 70-FOOT FALL

After falling from a height of about 70 i'eet, a Manchester steeplejack, John Nolan, aged 37, of Collyhurst, escaped with trivial cuts. He was working on the top of « chimney which is being demolished, and fell 30 feet to tlie roof . He then plunged from the edge of the roof into a garden, another 40 feet below. His workinates were astonished to find that he had picked himself up practically unhurt. He later returned to work.
