Representation was reeently made to the Minister of Education by tbe Pakowhai School Committee for assistance in the improvement of the school grounds. Tbe Minister bas now informed the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., that he has acceded to the request and the work will ha put in hand. in tbe near future. (' 4
