Afc the conclusion of tlie Prime Minister's meetings yesterday with the For;ign Secretary, Mr Anthony Eden, and Lord President of the Council, Lord tlalifax, when in partioular the latest nformation regarding the situation in the Far East "was examined and the
broad lines of British policy already announced were confirmed and in part ixtended. The Prime ' Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, travelled to Balmoral, where lie will spend the week-end as the ?uest of the King. A communique issued after the meetings observed with satisfaction the fiose collaboration that had been maintained with other governments, especially the American and French. It added that they regarded it a$ most unportant that such collaboration should continue.
