Twyford Man Falls from Horse J0INER BREAKS THUMB Two accident cases wero admittcd during last night to tlie Hastings Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. Mr Neil Sparksman, aged 80, of Twyford, received a fractured pelvis when he fell from a horse, and Mr Leonard Dyett, a cabinet-maker, aged 18, fractured his thuinb when a pieee ur wood, with which he was working, flew up and struck him. The condition of both men is reported to be satisfaetory. Mr Thomas Scanlon, the elderly man who was*knocked down by a ear and admitted to hospital in a serious conciition, is reported to be showing a slight improvement.
