West Coast Celebration A pleasant function was held at the Westland Hospital 'and Old People 's Home, Hokitika, on Tuesday, Avhen a gatiiering to celebrate the one hundred and seventh birthday of Mr. George Anderson, an inmate of the Old People 's Home but at present a pt*tient in tbe Westland Hospital, was beld. Mr. Anderson was visited by Mr. J", O'Prien, M.P., Miss Anderson (matroa), Mr. T. W. Dulf (chairman), and Messrs. E. L. Park and E. W. Hee* n an (members of tlie Hospital Board). Uongratulatory messagos were also received from the Prime Ministor (tlie Rt. Hon. M. J. Savirge) and the Hon. P. O. Webb (Minister for Mines). in addition to many other me'ssages of cong'titulation tlie inmates of the Old People 's Home visited the hospital to congratulato Mr. Anderson.
