Rev. S. Francis to Receive a Call .'A decision to call the Rev. Stuart Ih-ancis, B.A., of 'East Taieri^ Dunedin, to fill the vac'ancy in the position 'ofminister of 'the Presbyterian Church, Napier, caused by the appointment of the Rev. D. N. MacDiannid to the position of. Director ' of Home and Foreign . Missious, was made by the members of the cbngregations present at the annual meeting last evening upon a reeo'ra'mendation from the ' selection committee • - • Before the call becomes effeetive, it' must be ftrst signed by' a majority of the cominunicant members bf the church, and the list will be opcn for signature during the pext fortnight. Members of the congrcgation have already had an opportunity of hearing Mr Francis, as he conducted the 6ervices last- Sunday. It is expected that some time will elapse before the call is.answered, as after the signatures- have been- affixed to the list, the call must first., be placed before the presbyteries of Hawke's Bay i and Dunedin. . ..
