AUSTRALIAN NIGHT FLYING
Big-Scale Commercial Plan (Eeceived 26, 1.30 p.m.) . CANBEEEA, Aug. 26. Commercial flying at night on a seale never before attempted in Australia^ is envisaggd by American interests which are seeking to contract with the Federal Government for air mail services between all capitals. The proposal is to employ eight Douglas planes with sleeping accommodation for passengers and to fly mails at night. Each plane will cost £30,000.
