Several Bicycles at Hastings Police Station HAT-BOX OF CL0THING Owners of a quantity of clothing and a number of bicycles are saught by tho Hastings poliee. Eecently a cardboard hat-box, full of women 's apparel, was found in the vicinity of . the Tomoana freezing-works, and all efforts to date of the police to trace the owner havq failed. ' ' The clothing is in good order' aml was handed oyer to us. It was in a square hat-box and it does seein improbable that it was actually lo-st off a car, for it is a fairly big box and the contents are quite valuable^" said a police officer. "It is possible that the box was stolen." % The officer also" reported that there was a "room full of bicycles" awaiting claims by their ownej's.
