WELLINGTON, Last Night. \ Becauso of rising costs the Wellingfon Harbour Board deeidcd to-night to increase its eharges by £22,000, represent/, ing a rise of 44 per cent. 1 Strong exception to the new tariKI was taken by members xepresenting country interests and an amendmenfc, was moved to postpone a decision nntil the results of the vear's working were known. This, however, was defeated' by six votes to four.
