"AUCKLAND, Last Night. A wcll-knotvn L Waikato rcsident, Stcpheu Tapp, of Frankton, mct his death in tragie eircumstances this evoniag. He v.as driving a rnotor Iruck from Mataxnuta to Hamilton and, when three miles on the Hamilton side of Cambridge, lost control of the vehicle, which was seen to run in erratic manner for 100 yards before strikiug a tclegraph pole and overturning. Tapp, who was alone, received severe faciai injuries, and when cye witnesses of the aceident arrived on the scenc he was dcad. It has been suggested he had a heart attack.
