Shipineut of forcst tree seedlingsl .from the Pennsylvania (U.S.A.) Deoartment of Foi'ests and Watcrs' four State nurseries for reafforestation pur« poses in the State has commenced. Almost 9,000,000 seedlings aud transplants will be shipped, an increase of nearly .a million and a half trees over the same period in .1936. The first shipmeuts have been made from the Mont Aito Nuiscry, and the other nurseries at Cleariield, Greenwood Furuace and L'enn are to start shipping iminediatejy.
