CUTTING OF TREES

Judgment for Defendant Judgment was given for the defendant by Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Napier Magistrate 's Court yesterday afternoon in the action by Wilfrid Arthur Goddard, of Hastings, against Winifred Jessie Terry, of Napier, for £100 as da-mages for trespass and damage to property. Costs aiiiouiiting to £9 8/6 wero allowed the defendant. The case was in regard to the cutting of trees on the plaintiff's property by the defendant, it being alleged that she had exceeded hor authority in the mattor and illegally destroyed several valuable trees.
