OIL CONCESSIONS
Fear that Mexico Will Not Renew Them (Received 25, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 21. As a sequcl to the increasingly unfavourable position of foreigu oil compauies in Mexico, tho most important of which, Mexican Eagles, has slumped 50 per cent. on the Stock Exchange in the past few weeks, the British Government is considering making represontations to Mexico. It is feared the present concessions will not bo renewed upon expiry as Mexico aims at the nationalisation of the entiro industry.
