WAIPAWA REGENT THEATRE
"RAMONA" IN TE CHNIC OLOUR TO-NIGHT. 1 In the presentation of "Ramona," showing at uie Waipawa Regent to-night, 20th Century-Fox has added anothor grcat triumph to its already iinposing roster of cinenia successes. Flashing action on a far-f!ung scale combined with its production in the new perfected Technicolour, make "Ramona'' one of the most iniportant pictures of the year, an exciting picturisation of Helen Bunt Jackson's immortal love story. Loretta Young is featured as Itamona, with Don Ameche as Alessandro, and the splendid supporting cast includes such players as Kent Taylor, Paulino Frederiek, Jane llarwell, Katherino f)e Mille and Jolin Carradiue. "Ramona" is a picture that fairly teems with high romance — fiestas, fandangoes, songs, roses, secret trysts, mission bells, stolen kisses, tears, love and laughter.
