At Porangahau during tho week-eud tlie Mt. Herbert Club played the local club, results being as below with Porangahau players inentioned first : — Four bali: Mrs M. Ropiha and Mrs Douglas lost to Mrs Bendeich and Miss MaeKenzie; Mrs Stewart and Miss Douglas beat Miss I. Butler and Mrs Townsend; Mrs A. Ropiha and Miss P. Board lost to Mrs McRae and Miss Blair. Two ball: Mrs Ropilia beat Mrs Bendeich, Mrs Douglas beat M(ss MaeKenzie, Mrs gtewart beat Miss I. Butler, Miss Douglas lost to Mrs Townsend, Mrs R. Ropiha lost to Mrs McRae, Miss P. Board lost to Miss Blair.
