RADIO ANNOUNCER'S MYSTERY CIFT, The following interesting anecdote appeared in the "N.Z. Hadio llecord" of June 25th: — "For 24 hours a bottle, carefully wrapped, stopd on the table under the announcer'a roster of 1ZB. It bore a tag addressed with the name of a wellknown annouricer, and the others speculated freely on its eonteuts." Indeed, if it had been cream ifc would have soon been butter, so mqch and so often was it shakeu. Of course, Ihe gentleinan to whom it was addressed was booked oif the day it arrived. Nest day, when he rushed in, hot and tired after a rouud of gqlf, the announcers gathered about while he picked it up. Loviugly he opened it, contemptatirig refreshments — only to discover it was cougb inixture from a dear lady wfio had heard him cough over the air!" It is fairly safe to assuxne that the remedy silpplied was Baxters Lung Preserver. "Baxters" is best for all hoarseness, huskiness, sore throats, colds on the chest and bronchial tro.ubles. Af all chemists and stores, 1/6, 2/6 and extra Iarge size 4/6. Take care — take "Baxter®."
