Schedule of Classes Now Available Intcnding exhibitors at the Hawke's Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society .'s forthcoming Spring Show to be hcld on October 20 and 21 will be intorestcd to learn that the schedule is now available and copies may be obtained from the secretary, Mr A. M." Eetemeyer, P.O. Box 145. Napier, or from Mr F, C. Wilkinson, Queen street, Hastings. As in, .tho past the schedule is a most comprehensive one and provides sections for all classes of horses, cattlo, shcep, fleece wool, pigsy poultry, bread, butter, hams an.d bacon, woodwork, model -aeroplanes, needlework. knitting and artwork, etc. A 6eparate schedule will' Be issued for tho kennel sectioa and copies will be available shortly. ' Stud sheep breeders will be interested to note that the Douglas MeLean Memorial Cup is this year allocated for most points in the stud sheep section; this valuable trophy is offered annually in the following order: Clydesdales, beef cattle and stud sheep. Intending exhibitors in the children 's pony saddle classes should note that Mr J. E. Lane 's special pri2es are again offered for best kept pony, including bri.dle, etc. To colebrate the completion of the railway to "Wairoa and the extension of the rail to Nuhaka, the society has decided to donate a challenge cup to be won outright for most points in horses, cattlo 4 sheep or pigs, including light horses and competitions, open to exhibitorS north of the Mohaka river and emb*aeing the Wairoa and Poverty Bay districts. Many valuable trophies are offered throughout the schedule .and the prize money in the light horse section and hnrso competitions -has been considerably increased.
