Attack on Bakery Manager SENSATION AT SYDNEY

(Received 23, 8.4o a.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 22. Three masked and armed young men entered a bakery at Balmain last niglit, felled the manager, Mr Erio Morgan, obta'med tlie keys to tbe safe and were proceeding to obtain the money when Morgan, who had feigned unconsciousness, hurried ufinoticed for the police. Four police rtislied back to the bakery just in time to see the robbers compelling another employee to drive them away in a motor lorry. The police called ou the men to surrender and remove their masks. All were arrested and £200 in notes was recovered.
