Booth Tarkington's "Glareuce," the Paramount comedy of a family iil which there is too much love, comes to the Cosy Theatre to-night with a Cast of top comedians headed by Eoscoe Karns. Everybody's in love in "Clarence"— with the wrong person. EleaUore Whitney, the daughter in the batty Whedlef family, is in love With an old codger old enoUgh to be hef father. Her brother, Johnny Downs, is in love with the girl's govefness. The butler is in love with the maid and the maid is in love with Johnny. Eugene Pallette is lil love With his wife, but she doesn't believe him, It is up to Karns, as "Clarence," man-Gf-all-work in the Whedlef household, to sfcraighten out this mess. The pictiire has plenty of thrilis and ehillsj some excellent comedy, and a flavourlng of music. The story presents Ivareu Morley in the title roie as an agent who uses her beauty and wlt to ti'hp the inventor of a death ray who threatens td destroy England's air force with his invention. Since the ray is operatfed at a distance and is ,invisibie, it iB hot an easy job that confronts her.
