Prior to her xleparturo from Waipawa, Miss Nancy Dwight was entertah ed at t.lio Man.se bv the members of the Presbyterian Guild. Games arnl competitious iilled in the evening very pleasantly, and at an appropriate interval Mrs Robertson, on belialf of the Guild, prcsented the cruest with a crystal powder bowl, wishing lier everv succcss in her new sphere. Suitable acknowledgement was made by Miss Dwight. A dainty supper was served by Mrs Robertson. Mr J. W. Elliott, Waipukurau, has been elected a life member of tho Waipukurau Boxing Club, in recognition nf his kceu support and valued services to thc club since ils i'ormation. JMrs W. J. Gray, Waipukurau, has returncd to New Zealand by- dhe Awatea after a ahort visit to Sydaey.
