GISBORNE, Aug. 21. Poverty Bay soecer representatives scored a good vietory over Hawkc'3 Bay tbis afternoon. and at the same time retained the East Coast Roso Bowl. Tbe final seore was 7 — 2. Though Hawke's Bay revealed bette? all round form in the first spell t'key were not impressive in tbeir finisb. They were two goals down at half-time Tbe second spell waa bright, open and fast, witb plenty of interesting and exciting scoring movements. Tbo hom6 team definitely proved itself superior. Scorers were as follow: — Poverty Bay: Waugh (4), Bridge, Sampson and Burns. Hawke's Bay: Bryan (penalty kick), McCullum. In tbe primary scbools' representative game Hawke's Bay defeated Poverty Bay 2 — 0.
