VISITORS' STR0NG 0PP0SITI0N Bright Back Play By Both Teams MAGPIES 0UT-H00KED The touring Ot.ago team was defeated by Hawke's Bay by 14 points to eigbt in a representative Rugby match at McLean Paris, Napier, on Saturday before a comparatively small attendance of 8,500 spectators. Oonditions for the match were ideal, the ground being hard, resulting in a fast game. ■While the football played was not c * of the best, the territorial evenness of the encounter and the bright back movements of each sidc inade it an interesting, and, at times, thrilling spectacls.
