'African captain, P. J. Nel, was re--. fused. It. has been the general policyof the. ' Springboks to reserve their autographs' for the spccially-pvinted sheets which. afterwards could be disposed of for tho benefit of ckarity, and apparently it Was intended to make no departure from thiq policy while the team was in: 'Blenheim. The South African captain, courteously agreeing that this might be possible, xelented and signed the proffered book. Tho boy's cffort was overheard by a number of other players, and they also obligingly signed the book, the boy finally leaving their hotel with about 20 ( autographs., " " x
