Shand, assistant-Minis-ter in the New Soyth Wales Executive Couneil, was a passenger by the Niagara, wbich arrived here to-day. Major Shand said that be had been deeply irapressed by the organisation tbat was being carried out in Britain to meet any possibilities arising from tbe international situation.
