MR. D. G. E. GOLDER

The death has occurred at Napier oi Mr Doiiald George Edward Golder, for the past 37 years a well-kuown resident of the district. The late Mr Golder was only 57 yeqrs of age, and was a painter by occupation. He caiue to Napier at the age of 20 from Norwicli, England, where lie was born. During his residence in Napier he was a proxninent member of the Druids' Lodge. He took a prominent part- in industrial affairs, until he was laid aside for a long period by ill health. He was a very highly esteemed member of the commutiity. To mourn their loss he leaves a widow and three grown-up children.
