CAMPING AT MORERE
Providing for Tourists Means for improving the camplng facilities at Morere were diseussed at a meeting of the Gisborne Chamber qf Commerce. The question arose at €iie last meeting, when it was favourably considered. The chairman, Mr. R. W. J. Edwards suggcsted tliat tho secretary «hould eonfer with tlie secretary of the Gisborne branch of the A.A. (Auckland). Sanitary convenieiices, cooking facilities, electric light, and water were required on the grounds. Mr. H. F. Forster said that the grounds were already provided with light and wate» and he did not thiuk it would cost inuch to put tJie caiup sito in order. 11 was dccidcd ' to suggest that Ihe grounds bc levelled, provided with six sheltered brick lircpJaces, sanitary convenicnces, and that the bath caretaker be put in charge, if consent was gaiued from the Government.
