Charged with stealing the suni cf 11/6, the property of the Employment Promotion Fund, and with forging a declaration of income, Percy Fultonj employment olncer at Gisborne, appeared before Mr E. Walton, S.M., this tnorning anu'was remandcd till August 31. Dctectivc G. A. McWhirtor, in upplying for a romand and agrcoing to bail, sai.d that other charges were pCnding. Tho charges were of a scrious naturo and had rcstiltcd from the aets of the pubiiu servant in chargo of the Labour Bureau. Counsel pointcd out that, although the charges were scrious, they did not involvo largo sums. Bail was allowcd of £100, wilh a eurety l'or a similur amount.
