Success of Annual Ball

TWYFORD, This Day. A meeting of Twyford residents was held at Mr. A. .T. Burge's residence on Wednesday night for tlie. purpose of presenting tlie finaneial sffatemeut for tbe recent annual ball, l'rom tlie salisiactory result of which the Twyford hall funds will be augmcnted by 3 considerable amount. Votes of thanks were aecorded those tradespeople wbo made donations. The annual general meeting of the Twyford Baehelors ' and Spinsters ' Club was held at the schoolroom on Tuesday last. The Teport and balancoeheet for the year, showing a satisfactory position, was presented and adopted. Votes of thanks for the year 's work were accorded the chairman, Mr, E. Masters, the retiring secretary, Miss Molly Burgc, the auditor, Miss Grijfiths, aud also Mr. J. Trottcr, who has acted as M.C. at the balls. For the ensuing year Mr. L. Maslcra was again elected chairman and Miss Mabel Griffitha secretary. At the conclusion of ihe meeting inatters were diseussed regardiug the linai baehelors' and spinsters' ball for the season. .
