A "secret eye" which detects aircraft above clouds, flying by night or through fog has been produced by a British inventor, who also claims that it will prevent collisions at sea, It uses wave-lengths of light longer than iufra-reds aud shorter than xadio wavcs, The approach of objects miles dislant ia indicatedj al'so the direction.
